This year marks a powerful milestone—20 years of Indigenous Curatorial Inclusion. Since 2005, ICCA has been building space, voice, and visibility for Indigenous curators and arts workers across Turtle Island. Let’s come together to honour this legacy and imagine what the next 20 years can hold. The ICCA is committed to making the Gathering as inclusive and accessible as possible.- Mobility Access: All venues (PAVED Arts, Remai Modern, and MacKenzie Art Gallery) are wheelchair accessible with barrier-free washrooms and elevators.
- Seating: Reserved seating is available for Elders and those with accessibility needs.
- Interpretation: [TBD — e.g., ASL/LSQ or French/English simultaneous interpretation if confirmed].
- Quiet Zones: Dedicated quiet/rest areas will be available in both Saskatoon and Regina venues.
- Dietary Needs: Meals and refreshments will accommodate a range of dietary restrictions. Please note any requirements when registering.
- Support: If you need additional accommodations, please contact gatherings@icca.art before October 15, 2025.
We may have sessions designated Indigenous-only for open sharing on sensitive topics. These will be clearly marked in the program so non-Indigenous participants can plan accordingly. In all other sessions, we encourage everyone to participate, listen, and engage in ways that honour Indigenous voices and experiences. |
